Portfolio

The following is a collection of my greatest work and current projects.

Aerial Cinematography

I've been fortunate to film and photograph from a variety of aerial platforms including: UAVs, fixed wing aircraft, and helicopters. With this experience, I have a greater understanding of aerial filmmaking and respect for the aviation community.

I have a Part 107 drone license and currently working on my Private Pilot's license.

Documentary

In June of 2018, I spent three weeks in Cuba on a school service trip and created a documentary titled El Paquete Semanal which won a Scholastic Gold Key and National Silver Medal.

At the 2020 Miami Film Festival Cinemaslam Competition, my work the progress documentary, American Air Boss, was one of eight awarded with funding to complete for the 2021 Festival.

Currently on a year long festival run of the feature length documentary Losing Grip, following the life of U.S. Olympic Team Gymnast Shane Wiskus. Updates can be found on Instagram @losinggripfilm.

Lighting Design

A hobby that quickly turned into a valuable skill of mine is an advanced knowledge of complex lighting setups. I’ve not only mastered the traditional interview–style lighting, but also experimental techniques such as computer controlled DMX to automate RGB and moving head lights, often seen in concert venues.

Production

I was selected to help produce a holiday concert at the University of Tampa broadcast on PBS. During this month long process, I assisted in pre-production, rigging a RED camera on a jib, setting up ARRI and HMI lights, drone operation in a controlled airspace, and Black Magic 4K Cinema Camera operation.

In cinematography class, I mounted and balanced a RED Scarlet-W on a Steadicam to recreate a scene from La La Land.
